Garbage

Stone Sanitation of Marshalltown is the garbage hauler for the residential residents of Roland. Any questions you have regarding your garbage services should be addressed directly to Stone Sanitation at 641-366-2310.

Garbage pick up is on Friday. You are advised to have garbage set out by 4:30 a.m. If one of the holidays listed below falls during the week (excluding Saturday and Sunday), garbage will be picked up on Saturday.

  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day

The fee for garbage pick up is included in your monthly water bill. The fee for garbage pick up is $17.60 per month ($13.85 for the actual garbage pick up and $3.75 for the landfill assessment fee).
