The Roland Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1912. Currently, there are 17 volunteer firefighters on the roster.

The Roland Volunteer Fire Department’s coverage area is:

  • Southern part of Scott Township
  • All but the Western part of Howard Township
  • Northern part of Milford Township
