EMTs

Roland was established as the first response team in the state of Iowa in the fall of 1976. The response team is designated as EMT-B level responder and is dispatched by the Story County Sheriff’s Office.

There are currently 11 members of the Roland Response Team. All members are certified at the EMT-B level or higher. Shifts run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
