Sanitary Sewer
Roland sewer rates are found in the Code of Ordinances Chapter 99.3, usage is based off of water usage.
The Roland wastewater system consists of a lift station for Industrial Park, around 45,500 feet of gravity mains, 137 manholes, a triplex main lift station at the treatment plant, simultaneous 2 cell Lemna Lagoon, polishing reactor, and UV disinfection. The new treatment system was officially in operation April 2020. Operation of this system requires a Grade II Waste Water System Certificate through the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
