ORDINANCE NO. 62
AN
ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ROLAND, IOWA, 2003,
PERTAINING TO THE REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL BY CHANGING THE SAID
TIME OF THE MEETINGS FROM SEVEN O’CLOCK (7:00 PM) TO SIX O’CLOCK (6:00 PM).

IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of
SECTION
1: SECTION MODIFIED. Section 17.04(1), is hereby repealed and the
following adopted in lieu thereof.
1.
Regular Meetings. The regular
meetings of the Council are on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each
month at six o’clock (6:00) p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. If such a day falls on a legal holiday and
City Hall is scheduled to be closed, the meeting is held the next day at the same time unless a
different day or time is determined by the Council.
SECTION
2. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. If any section, provisions or part of this
ordinance be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not
affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or
part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION
3. WHEN EFFECTIVE. This ordinance shall be in effect from and
after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
